Who it is for
For people with ADHD or on the autism spectrum who look high-functioning from the outside: reliable at work, carrying responsibility, at home in complexity. And inside, running on full power without pause, until the body or the mind pulls the brake.
Here, burnout is not failure. It is what years of performance as the only safe mode leave behind.
What is different here
Meditation works with ADHD and autism too. Not as a theory, but from experience. What usually doesn't fit is the instruction: "empty your mind" is just one more performance task for a brain that never stands still, and one you are sure to fail.
Here the attitude is different:
- Thoughts may come. You don't have to switch anything off.
- You only learn not to hold on to them: clouds passing by.
- In between, space opens. You don't have to fill it, judge it or improve it.
- Nobody expects a result from you. Not even you.
Where the practice comes from
It is rooted in Vipassana meditation and in the Buddha's teaching. That helps, but it is not a requirement: you don't have to believe anything, belong to a tradition or know anything about Buddhism.
Where and when
On Gran Canaria. The climate is mild and stable all year round, without big swings. That warmth lets bodies that are sensitive to cold relax, instead of constantly working against being cold. And there is the sea, the light and the open horizon.
There is no fixed place yet. Right now Campo Silencio is a vision taking shape; there are no dates or bookings yet.
Practise now
On Instagram, @campo.silencio runs a 60-day programme: one short practice a day. Soon there will be a small practice app, with no points, no streaks and no pressure, and "Nubes", a quiet companion on Telegram.

Campo Silencio needs people who help carry it: a place or a house on Gran Canaria, financial support, experience with retreats, with neurodivergence or as a host.
If you can imagine being part of it, write to hallo@camposilencio.com.
Campo Silencio is not a therapy service and does not replace treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your country.
